Dockingstation
A docking station can be used to quickly and easily create a connection between a notebook and so-called peripheral devices. Peripheral devices include external monitors, an external mouse, an external keyboard or a headset. The port for a network cable is also important.
Since all this additional computer equipment is connected to the docking station via its numerous interfaces, the only connection that needs to be made is between the notebook and the docking station - and this often requires just a flick of the wrist. The aim is to be able to use the notebook better and more comfortably.
